Q. Is it possible to Zelle Payments?

Q. what time is check in?

A. Check-in is 4 pm or after.

Q. How do I book an apartment?

A. Complete the contact form on the “Contact Us” page, letting us know the dates you need. We will contact you with availability and pricing.

Q. What is included in your apartments?

A. All of our apartments include a bed and basic furnishings, as well as television and internet. All utilities are included. See a list of items in apartment here (link to items in apartment document).

Q. Can I stay month to month?

A. Yes. if you don’t have a definite departure date let us know before your reserve so we can place you in an apartment that is open for several months. After a minimum stay of one month, we require a minimum 21-day notice to vacate. That means, you can stay for past your initial reservation longer if needed. When you have a departure date, contact us via e-mail with your departure date at least 21 days prior to leaving. If we don’t receive at least 21 days notice before vacating, you will be charged the daily rate for the number of days before your departure, plus additional days totaling 21 days.. For example, if you contact us on the 23rd of the month and are leaving on the 30th, that would only be 7 days notice. You would be charged an additional 14 days, bringing the total number of days before you leave to 21 days.

Q. What are your payment options? Is rent pro-rated?

A. We send an invoice for the first month’s rent, which is due at least 14 days before arrival. Subsequent payments are due monthly. An invoice will be sent before the due date. We accept all major credit cards, Paypal, Zelle Quick Pay, cash and check. There is a $25 per month discount if payment is made with check, cash, or Zelle Quick Pay. After a minimum of one month, partial months will be prorated. There is no tax on rentals.

Q. Do you require a security deposit?

A. Yes, we require a security deposit for all of our units. The deposit is based on the length of the stay. As long as the property is returned in good condition, the full security deposit is returned within 30 days of your departure. A $45 application fee is also required.

Q. Is parking available?

A. The building does not have parking, but there are parking options close by starting at around $200/month. Unless you absolutely need a car, we suggest not bringing a vehicle with you. Public transportation is very accessible, and grocery stores, restaurants, etc., are within walking distance from the building.

Q. What if I have a maintenance issue?

Q. Do you offer cleaning service?

A. Apartments are cleaned between guests. Guests are responsible for keeping the apartment clean, but cleaning service is available for an additional charge.

Q. Do you allow smoking in your properties?

A. No, we do not allow smoking in our properties. There is a $250 charge if there is smoking in the apartments.

Q. Do you allow pets?

A. No, pets are not allowed in Just Passing Through units.

Q. How do I pick up my keys?

A. Once your reservation is confirmed you will receive detailed arrival information, which includes picking up keys.

Q. What do I need to do at move-out?

A. Move-out must be by 11 a.m. CST on your departure day. For your move-out, we ask that you return the property in the same condition it was rented to you in, including general cleaning.

Q. What is your cancellation policy?

A. If you cancel your reservation 30 days or more prior to your move-in date/time, there is no cancellation fee If you cancel within 30 days or less prior to your move-in date/time, your deposit will be forfeited. If you choose a month to month option with 21 day notice to vacate, once you stay the minimum of 31 days then you can leave at anytime with a simple 21 day written notice. Cancellations must be submitted in writing to Info@justpassingthrough.com.

Q. Do you offer early check-in or late check-out?

A. Early check in or late check out must be arranged before arriving or leaving. If we have guests leaving on the day you will arrive, or arriving on the day you leave, early check in or check out may not be possible because the unit needs to be prepared for the next arriving guest. We will try and accommodate when possible, however there is no guarantee. Late check-outs without prior arrangement will be charged a $150 fee.

Q. Is cable service provided?

All apartments have television. Most have Smart TVs. Others have local channels only. Feel free to bring your streaming device to access additional streaming options.

Q. What if I need an apartment for an extended length of time?

Just Passing Through typically provides accommodation for no longer than six months. However, the building does provide unfurnished apartments with 9 - 12 month leases. More information is available at www.theoliveronlasalle.com, or by calling 312.488.1646..
